Winter Meeting Proposal #15- Expansion
Id like to put to a vote for an expansion team to begin in 2011. 2011 gives us time to work out details on expansion draft (majors and minors) and who exactly would be worthy of the team. I think 9 teams would be beneficial to the league. On a side note, if DMB wins again I think he should sell his team and take ownership of the expansion team..
Expansion really hasn’t worked out well in the past.
we can’t even vote on who gets who in a trade. I’m slightly against expansion right now. we have other things to iron out in these league before we start trying to catch someone up on everything
I like it. We should put something in place going forward, in case we find someone willing to join this madness.

I’m not against the idea of expansion, just don’t think right now is the best time to add a team. If there was someone down the road that wanted to join we could probably figure it out. Does anyone even have anyone in mind?
I would think we if we are going to add another team for 2011, we should get that owner on board soon. Let him follow the blog read up on the constitution, start following the minors. Cuts into some of the catch up time.
