The current “Bartolo Colon” rule states: Once a player exceeds MLB rookie status (150AB’s, 50IP, etc), he has to start the following season on an SOT active roster, regardless of his actual MLB placement – big leagues or minors. I propose we change this rule. We initially added this rule to prevent Colon situations, where [...]
I didn’t think it would come to this, but I’m afraid it has. JM killed the Draft Day buzz with his performance last year, just flat out murdered it. I think we need to initiate a clock on each pick, and I propose we start it at 3 minutes in Rd’s 1-2, then 5 minutes [...]
I propose we reduce the total number of options per player from 3 (current rule) to 1. The 1 option should still provide the flexibility we desired on rookie type players.
Seriously, Fuck Wins. It’s 2012, how the hell do we still have this as a category? It’s December and we’ve already had 100+ league emails, how many other leagues are paying attention 12 months a year, with 20 farm slots, a 30 page constitution, winter meetings, and 18 year olds getting traded for league MVP’s? [...]
This is a combined proposal from WTNY and TRC: When we talk about the league becoming too confusing, and too many rules, we’re almost always talking about transaction related rules. I think most of us agree that we’ve put many rules in place over the years, and without studying the constitution, it’s easy to forget [...]

1) Farm Eligibility – Rule passed. One amendment, players who were placed on the farm pre draft must stay on the farm through week one. They are then eligible to be activated in week two. If your player starts on the MLB roster but is rookie eligible, you have the ability to place him [...]
This could’ve been posted already, I’m not sure. Rich A first mentioned this during the season, and I liked it so I thought I’d post it. Similar to MLB, I propose we incorporate player options on guys who are rookie eligible (…or maybe open it up to players with less than 3 years of service [...]

WM Proposal.
Current Rule: SOT teams are allowed one reserve list (for injured players (Colon), players that have 6 or less years of MLB service time). However those players must occupy a roster spot on the day of the SOT Draft and can then be reserved after the regular draft is finished. A transaction draft will then [...]
If you would prefer to carry Arodys Vizcaino on your roster going forward please vote A. If you would prefer to carry Melky Cabrera on your roster going forward please vote B.
